JIFI is an extensible installation toolkit that facilitates the rapid creation of installer programs. The resulting installers can be created in a platform-independent fashion and executed in a variety of environments including those with no graphical capabilities.

JIFI Features

  • Platform independent - deploy content to any J2SE-enabled platform without creating multiple install images

  • Graphical tool for creating installers - no programming is required to create useful installers

  • Extensible - add custom capabilities to your installers; these new features can also be added to the graphical tool
