Request PLOT3D

Customers are encouraged to purchase and carefully review the PLOT3D manual before ordering the program for a specific computer and graphics library. There is only one manual for use with all implementations of PLOT3D, and although this manual generally assumes that the Silicon Graphics Iris implementation is being used, informative comments concerning other implementations appear throughout the text.

PLOT3D and PLOT3D/TURB3D are written in Fortran 77 (97%) and C-Language (3%).
Follow these steps to get this software:
  1. Log into our site. If you don't have a login yet, get one here and then come back to this page.
  2. Place your order online, using the form at the bottom of this page. You will be asked for additional information after you press the "SUBMIT" button. You will receive a confirmation email after this step.
  3. Print out, sign and fax the license agreement for the software. Our fax number is (US) 773-496-7919 or 773-334-8187. If you do not have access to a fax machine, you can scan your signed license agreement and email that to us at orders at openchannelsoftware dot org.
  4. Call (US) 773-334-8177 to have someone process payment for your order by credit card. In some cases we will accept a purchase order instead.
  5. Once the previous steps are complete, you will receive a second email with download instructions.
    You will be prompted to log into the site again before you can pick up your order.
